  • Commercial Leasing – as a tenant representative on a number of smaller leases over the past 5 years
  • Commercial Leasing – Leasing for Blue Basin Investments and related companies – Portland Hills Centre – tough retail location to rent but with persistence was able to fill with strong tenants
  • Residential sales – 10 years in the HRM market – developed good relationships with clients and real estate professionals
  • Commercial site finding – consolidated properties into development sites. Worked diligently to develop relationships with Vendors who had no intention of selling, helping with re-locations of Vendors in some cases
  • Commercial Building management – Portland Hills Centre – managed tenant needs and building maintenance
  • Commercial leasehold build-out management  – initially with oversight and progressing into full project management usually based on design build projects – Portland Hills, 1070 Barrington and other individual sites. Kept on budget and on or ahead of schedule by managing trades well and ensuring the projects are thought out in advance
  • Residential project management – managed home owner upgrades and renovations
  • Residential leasing – 3 years of leasing in markets in Lower Sackville, downtown Halifax in multi unit building and placing tenants for small property owners all over HRM
  • Event management – managed events to promote product, services and retail businesses. On-site and off-site events
  • Development Agreement work with Developers to help bring grass root support on side, promoting change for growth, educating on requirement for change
  • Developed a good understanding of basic zoning in HRM and as-or-right opportunities
  • Have worked in the fields of flooring sales and install, paint and product sales and service
  • Have developed strong relationships with various trades in HRM, trades that will offer help, guidance and assistance when needed, especially at short notice and when time is of the essence.
